Professional Development for Teachers (and anyone else interested)!

Hello Colleagues!  (Students and Parents also!)

What has started as an assignment for my coursework at B.G.S.U. has now turned into a opportunity for all to learn about why integrating technology in the classroom is important, how to use technology, and what are some of the things available for school use.  For teachers, this may serve as simple suggestions and also allow for some professional development opportunities; for students, this page may provide examples of what is out there and how to use it for your daily classroom work; and lastly, but not least, for parents, you will get a firsthand chance to view what your children have the ability to do.  It is always great to learn something new and there is something new here for everyone!

The Historical Fiction Unit is ready to go!

On Monday, November 14, 2011, we will begin our study of the historical fiction genre.  Hop on over to the Reading page and select Historical Fiction to begin the unit.  We will devote both reading and language arts class time to learning about this genre.  You will also be covering the content of the American Revolution in your history class.  When we are done with this unit, you will all be experts of this genre and time period!
